Supreme Processing has an opportunity available for a Stock Controller in the Dry Goods Stores department.

The purpose of the position is to provide support in the Dry Goods Stores by supplying and controlling of stock according to the relevant policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric/Grade 12 certificate (Maths)
  • Minimum of 3 years Stock Control experience.
  • Availability to work overtime
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Comfortable/or ability to work in a factory environment e.g., dust, cold.
Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Control of Stock.
  • Reasons for variance in stocks.
  • Coordination of inventory counts
  • Timeous reporting on stock holding and variances.
  • Propper Implementation of FIFO (First in first out)
  • Help supervise the maintenance of warehouses/storerooms and ensure proper arrangement of stock
  • Carry out stock management operations in line with set products policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the reserving or stock as may be required, as well as the standard to ensure appropriate stock presentation.
  • Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards
  • Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with inventory parameters
  • Develop inventory control models that promote shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels
  • Collaborate with production personnel to ensure raw materials and final product stock is accurate and on point.
  • Utilize specialized programs in maintaining record of store execution performance
  • Conduct assessment of supply chain to identify risks and develop solutions useful in minimizing losses
