Store Supervisor

Mammoth Technologies is looking for a Storeman to join our team in Witbank.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The individual will be expected to supervising the stores and overseeing daily operations within the stores. Maintaining inventory and stock take planning.

Inventory Management & Control:

• Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure availability of required materials.

Procurement & RFQ Management:

• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers, ensuring adherence to procurement policies.

Purchase Order Processing:

• Generate and process purchase orders (POs) based on approved supplier quotations.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

• Assign tasks and responsibilities to store personnel based on operational requirements.

Supplier & Vendor Coordination:

• Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing and service.

Requirements:

Education:

• Matric certificate
• A diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or Business Administration is preferred.

Experience:

• At least 3-5 years in stores, procurement, warehouse management, or supply chain roles.

Knowledge:

• Inventory & Warehouse Management Principles
• Procurement & Purchasing Principles
• Compliance, Ethics, and Regulatory Knowledge
• Knowledge of ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Skills:

• Typing Speed: 40-50 WPM
• Request for Quotation (RFQ) Handling (Advanced level)
• Stock Reconciliation (Advanced level)
• Team Supervision (Intermediate level)

Abilities:

• Able to lead and motivate a team of store personnel
• Able to delegate tasks effectively
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Able to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Able to optimize procurement and stores processes for efficiency

MUST HAVE TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE.
