Teacher ECD

Job Title: Teacher - Early Childhood Development (ECD) Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our Early Childhood Development (ECD) program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a deep understanding of child development. The teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in children ages 3-5 years old
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment where children can explore, play, and learn
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students to help them reach their full potential
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to share information about childrens progress and development
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for all students
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications:
  • NQF Level 5
  • Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children
