Matric

Computer Literate - Excel, Word, Outlook

Fluent in English & Afrikaans

Presentations, Sales and Negotiations skills

3 Years Sales experience within a corporate or semi-corporate , business to business environment

Proven track record of increasing revenue and growing market share

Rental Industry knowledge an advantage

Working in a CRM environment an advantage

  • JOB DESCRIPTION

The External Sales Consultant is responsible for the following:

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

a) Maximise sales in the agreed territory

o Achieve/exceed monthly sales targets which will be evaluated monthly

o Achieve daily call ratio quota & call cycles as per the Company standards

o Call on Customers in a corporate/office environment when necessary

o Call on Customers on sites when necessary and perform audits on machines as well as site inspections

o Build and maintain strong relationships with Customers

o Do demonstrations of machines on site for Customers to promote the products and services and achieve the minimum quantity of demos per week as per the Company standards

o Do presentations to Customers on our products and services when necessary

o Ensure a consistent strong sales pipeline

o Ensure excellent planning of territory management

o Ensure time planning and management is maximised

o Weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting to be done

o Attend weekly sales meetings

o Ensure the decision makers and influencers in the decision making process are identified and called on regularly

o Ensure use of selling and negotiations skills taught are used

o Sell the benefits of the products and do not sell on price. Always offer value for money

o Call on Customers that hire from Competitors weekly and feedback information at weekly sales meetings

o Report on lost orders weekly at sales meetings

o Maximise every opportunity with every Customer interaction i.e. promote products and services

o Understand the products and applications

o Understand the Customers needs and sell the correct application to suit those needs

o Manage key accounts

o Open new accounts on a monthly basis as per the Company standards

o Ensure good consistent communication with the hire desk daily

o Professional, knowledgeable and applicable delivery of V.P

b) Develop & grow market share and identify new market segments

o Target Customers within a market segment we already sell to to ensure we maximize growth in that sector in that area

o Identify new market segments in the agreed area and sell the products and services to those potential Customers

c) Timely and Accurate administration and Reporting

o Complete enquiry forms for all enquiries received

o Follow up on all enquiries daily/weekly to ensure no opportunities are lost

o Complete daily and weekly planners to ensure excellent time and territory management

o Complete site and company management forms

o Do quotations for Customers

o Complete weekly sales call sheets

o Follow up on Customer queries and orders

o Ensure any Customer administrative requirements are completed on site as and when necessary

o Assist the hire desk in obtaining paperwork from Customers, i.e. credit applications and orders

o Deliver invoices to Customers when necessary

o Assist Credit Control in collection of outstanding monies

o Be able to put together a presentation on Powerpoint for Customers

d) Customer Relationship Management System

o Ensure the system is updated on a daily/weekly basis with all the requires information on Customers, as well as information on competitors rates, activities and advertising

e) General

o To ensure that a professional image is always projected, i.e. grooming and company vehicle

o To ensure that the quality of service that Eazi Access Rental provides and the satisfaction of its customers, are treated with the utmost importance at all times

o To promote Eazi Access Rental and do everything possible to enhance its image

o To ensure that all duties are carried out safely and in accordance with all company and legal requirements

o To work in harmony with other employees in the Company

o To ensure that confidentiality in all Eazi Access Rental matter is maintained

o To produce other information as required and to carry out other duties either directly or indirectly as requested by your manager from time to time

o Compliance to standard operation guidelines of Eazi Access Rental
