Vehicle Camera and Tracking Fitment Technician

We are seeking a permanent mobile Technician, who currently resides in the greater Durban area. The successful candidate will be a well presented, honest and motivated individual who is willing to learn. In accordance with our clients requirements, the individual will be subject to regular lie detector tests.

Minimum Requirements:

- Valid drivers license

- Matric / Grade 12 pass

- A minimum of 3 years experience installing tracking units and vehicle camera systems.

- Experience with Fuel Probe Installations

- Experience with CAN bus

- Advanced computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel

Job Responsibilities:

- Install and maintain vehicle tracking, camera and fuel devices according to specified quality standards and policies and procedures

- Ensure that there is the correct amount of stock and consumables required on hand

- Ensure that there are the necessary tools required for the job and that these tools are well looked after

- Accurately document and log all work completed

- Accurately complete job cards

- Compile weekly reports to be sent to the office

- Ask questions to increase knowledge base

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R12 000,00 - R18 000,00 per month
