Visual Merchandise Manager

We need an ambitious, responsible and self-motivated individual to fill the following vacancy that exists. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Projects and Visual Executive.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Periodic store visits
• Action merchandise checklist in store
• Feedback findings to Ops & H/O
• Create corrective action plan with Ops manager if require
• Train & Clarify standards
• Follow up to ensure full understanding & implementations
• Check all dept per store regarding stock levels & feedback to H/O
• To visit new stores before opening to ensure principles are adhered to
• To ensure window visual merchandise guidelines are implemented
• Competitor surveillance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years Visual Merchandise retail management experience of which at least 2 years are at Senior management level
• Computer Literate: MS Word & Excel
• Good knowledge of MS Outlook
• Knowledge of how to assemble fixtures and merchandise to attract the customers attention
• Must have a creative and artistic aptitude with good hand eye co-ordination
• Planning & decision-making ability couple with great listening and communication skills
• Matric
• Drivers License
• Willing to travel
• Team player
• Positive attitude
