This established Investment and Property group is seeking a hands-on Tax and Reporting Manager to oversee their full tax function, manage the drafting of annual financial statements, and ensure robust compliance across all entities and trusts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax across multiple entities, experience with trusts, and a detail-oriented mindset suited to high-quality financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee tax compliance across all group entities and trusts, including provisional and income tax calculations.
• Handle all correspondence and audits from SARS and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain a comprehensive tax compliance schedule and contribute to tax planning initiatives.
• Draft and review annual financial statements, including group consolidations.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure general ledger accuracy.
• Deliver timely and accurate reporting for executive leadership and banking partners.
• Support the CFO with various ad hoc financial and tax projects.
• Drive continuous improvements in tax and reporting processes.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), CIMA, SAIPA or similar accreditation is preferred
• 4+ years of relevant tax experience, including dealings with SARS
• Strong understanding of trusts and group consolidations
• Advanced Excel and Word proficiency
• Experience with MDA (advantageous)
