Mature person with retail sales experience is required for jewellery shop in Knysna. This person will have a professional manner and be able to relate to people from all walks of life.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sales and cash ups
• Open and closing of shop
• Replenish stock from packed bags
• Cleaning of jewellery
• Working with small labels and packaging.
• Cleaning of shop - e.g.: keeping glass dust and fingerprint free; windows and floors swept and mopped.

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Absolute honesty and reliability
• Get to work on time and be able to return home safely when late hours are worked especially when it is seasonally dark at 7pm.
• Attention to detail
• Professional dress
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Outward going and enthstic
• Plenty of energy!
• Computer literacy

Summer operating hours for this position. Hours are flexible.

Monday 09h00 - 14h00

Wednesday 09h00 - 19h00

Friday 5-hour shift, alternating mornings and afternoons every other week.

Saturday 5-hour shift, alternating mornings and afternoons every other week.

Sunday 4-hour shift, alternating mornings and afternoons every other week.

Winter operating hours

Monday 09h00 - 13h00

Wednesday 09h00 - 18h00

Friday 4-hour shift, alternating mornings and afternoons every other week.

Saturday 4-hour shift, alternating mornings and afternoons every other week.

Sunday 3-hour shift, alternating mornings and afternoons every other week.
