TODAY. PathCare Vermaak is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across South Africa that has been assisting doctors and healthcare professionals determine and confirm diagnoses since 1922. We are registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited. Opportunities exist for Night-duty Medical Students to join the PathCare Vermaak family at our Unitas Depot in Centurion. We seek an individual with a high level of ethics and integrity who displays a proven track record of consistently aligning with the PathCare Vermaak values.

• Registered with the HPCSA as a Medical Student

• Must at least be a 3rd year medical student

• Must have Anatomy as a subject and a good

understanding thereof

• Must have a valid drivers license

• Computer literate

• Excellent attention to detail

• Must be accurate, professional and reliable

• Display initiative

• Client-focused with strong interpersonal

relations

• Problem-solving ability

• Good work ethics

• Good understanding of business & telephone

etiquette

• Adaptability with the ability to co-operate within a

team environment

• Effective verbal and electronic communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure and display resilience

and tenacity in challenging situations

• Must be fluent in English with an understanding of

Afrikaans

• Must be prepared to work day and night shifts,
