We are in search for a dynamic and versatile Divisional Technology Manager to be responsible for day-to-day management of the Tsebo Facilities Solutions. You will be pivotal in managing the coordination and oversight of divisional IT related projects. Responsible for being the single point of contact between the Tsebo Facilities Solutions and Group IT for all divisional information technology related matters. You will support and drive in collaboration with Group IT the implementation of a fit for purpose IT Strategy, Digital Strategy, Data Strategy and Processes in line with divisional Strategic imperatives and the agreed operating model in order to enable business growth and development

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manages divisional IT staff, performance, and development while ensuring service levels and alignment with Group IT.
  • Oversees IT operations, cost management, and strategy implementation to support business objectives.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction, resolves escalations, and drives process improvements
  • ICT Policy and Strategic Planning
  • Enforces Group IT policies and procedures to align with divisional needs and strategic objectives. Manages and reviews the divisional IT strategy with Group ITs support.
  • Advises on ITs role as a support function within divisional objectives while staying updated on emerging technology trends and their impact.
  • Develops a divisional IT service management plan and reports on performance. Supports business analysis by providing suitable IT systems and solutions.
  • Ensures user involvement in IT planning and identifies opportunities for team training and skill development.
  • Manages day-to-day IT operations, service delivery, and relationships with strategic IT partners while ensuring compliance with data protection laws and audit requirements.
  • Leads staff, contractors, and service partners to deliver IT services, establish best practices, and support the division through change.
  • Controls technology costs through business case development, performance measurement, and negotiations with vendors and stakeholders.
  • IT Financial Management
  • Manages the divisional IT budget, expenditure control, and cost containment in alignment with Group IT guidelines.
  • Oversees IT procurement, financial approvals, and compliance with finance procedures.
  • Tracks budget performance, develops business cases, and reports key financial insights to Group IT.
  • IT Asset Management
  • Oversees inventory management, procurement, and vendor relationships for divisional IT assets in alignment with Group IT standards.
  • IT Security Management
  • Supports Group IT in enforcing security policies, protecting against data security threats, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations like POPIA.

  • Develops technology solutions, contributes to tenders, provides technical expertise, and identifies opportunities to improve divisional software and systems.

  • Facilitates the business requirements gathering process, drafts the Business Requirements Document (BRD), and works with developers on system design and configuration for signoff.

  • Plans, implements, and monitors divisional IT projects, defines system requirements, manages project costs, and communicates progress to stakeholders, with support from Group IT PMO.

  • Oversees the implementation of business systems, manages system development, testing, data reporting, and ensures projects meet original requirements.

  • Leadership/Management Development Programme, ITIL, MCITP certification an advantage
