This is a full time, fully remote position and the individual will be expected to work EST/PST hours.

Responsibilities

• Costing & Quoting of daily RFQs / Inquiries from local clients and Agents.
• Proactively trying to optimize the profitability of the shipments quoted.
• Proactively negotiate with service providers the best contract rates and costs.
• Proactively following up feedback on quoted business and find ways to increase the closing ratio.
• Proactively generate Sales Leads from different sources i.e. Inquiries, Data base, Online.
• Follow up Sales leads through Cold Calls, emails and other means like WeChat if overseas.
• Closely coordinate with the companys Sales Reps on the ground in finding ways to close new business, and possibly securing one on one meetings for them
• Review, Analyze past quotes and find ways to improve them.
• Actively log your CRM communications with prospects and existing clients in the companys system and schedule follow ups.
• Generating quotes from the companys system when necessary.
• Proactively generate and qualify leads for yourself and outside sales team through Quotes, and other company data base.
• Proactively educating yourself with the Companys system skills as well as with the industry changes and regulations.
• Keeping the companys database and system up to date on daily basis.
• Identify continuous process improvements and propose to the Pricing Manager.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Min 4 years of Air Freight Forwarding Experience is required.
• Min 3 years of Pricing and estimate experience.
• Knowledge of Incoterms is a must.
• Cargo Wise1 knowledge is preferred.
• Good understanding of Operations in Logistics is a must.
• Understanding International Shipping Documentations is a must i.e. AWB, HBL, CI, PL, COO, etc.
• A college / university degree in Logistics, Intl business or related is preferred.
