Job Overview

Daimler Truck Southern Africa is looking for a dynamic candidate to join the quality management team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical support according to engineering knowledge and principles in line with local, global and legislative requirements. Monitor product quality against defined specifications, facilitate quality problem solutions, administer quality processes and reports.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Conducting product audits: Ensuring products meet quality standards through systematic reviews.
• Preparing presentation material and supporting projects: Creating and presenting information to support various projects.
• Maintaining BPA Method: Ensuring the Business Process Analysis method is up-to-date and effective.
• Capturing findings in single point, 3 step, and 8D: Documenting issues and resolutions using different problem-solving methodologies.
• Capturing audit findings on IQ office database: Recording audit results in a specific database.
• Auditing and reporting non-compliance: Identifying and reporting deviations in production processes, especially after production issues.
• Problem-solving initiatives: Leading efforts to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Giving advice and assistance to manufacturing: Providing guidance to manufacturing teams to ensure quality.
• Detecting non-conformance: Identifying areas where products or processes do not meet standards.
