Eduvos is looking to employ a Biology Lecturer at our Pretoria campus on a permanent basis.

Type of appointment:

Permanent appointment

Purpose:

  • To lecture Applied Sciences modules, in the faculty on a full-time basis.
  • To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.
Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications required:

  • MSc Biological Sciences, preferably with specialisation in Anatomy and Physiology

Experience:

  • 3 years lecturing/ tutoring exprience.
  • Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
Duties and Responsibilities

Modules to be lectured:

  • Anatomy and Physiology
  • Principles of Cell Biology
  • Histology
  • Clinical Laboratory Hematology

Responsibilities:

  • Lecturing
  • General administration
  • Setting and marking of assessments
  • Preparation of notes and additional study materials
  • Quality Assurance
  • Management of At-risk students
