Blow Moulding Operator
Role Purpose
The Blow Mould Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining blow moulding machinery. This role involves adjusting machine settings, monitoring production, and ensuring that the final products meet the companys and customers quality standards. A strong understanding of the blow moulding process and different types of plastics is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate blow moulding machines to manufacture plastic bottles or other plastic products
- Monitor machines to ensure smooth operation and make necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Check product dimensions and ensure quality control standards are met
- Keep accurate production records
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair minor machine faults
Key Skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience in setting up and operating blow moulding equipment
- Knowledge of different plastic materials and safety regulations
- Basic understanding of mould maintenance and repairs
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Physically fit to lift up to 25kg
- Comfortable standing for long hours
- Ability to safely operate machinery

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R40,00 - R50,00 per hour
