Catering Manager

Catering Manager - Hermanus to take full responsibility and management of the contract :

• Setting up and management of service delivery standards
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team
• Implement and maintain operational controls in line/within budgetary requirements
• Ensure the quality of food preparation, presentation, and service is up to standards
• Oversee the daily running of Laundry and Housekeeping services
• Ensure all policies and procedures are complied with
• Daily HR and IR issues (including training, development & performance management)
• Take responsibility for all functions by organizing, preparing & coordinating.
• Management of all administration, finances, debtors, budgets, etc.
• Process paperwork and compile & understand weekly & monthly reports
• Relationship building with the client and customers daily (essential)
• Stay abreast of the latest food trends and best practices

Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent level of competence

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience
• Previous experience within a Hospitality and hospital environment.
• Able to work shifts when needed
• Own transport - Essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R12 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hermanus, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hospitality: 3 years (Required)
• Coffee Shop: 3 years (Required)
