Chemical Engineering Intern

To support the Process team in maintaining and improving production processes and formulations, ensuring consistent product quality, efficient throughput, and alignment with global standards—all while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Assist in optimizing production processes and formulations to ensure product quality and consistency.
  • Help implement and document specific process parameters for production.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Learn how to update and adapt formulations in collaboration with Group R&D.
  • Participate in evaluating and enhancing recipes to meet local market needs.
  • Contribute to technical investigations such as process deviations and product complaints.
  • Assist in documenting production procedures for training purposes.
  • Take part in delivering process-related training to production staff.

Requirements

  • A student or recent graduate in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a hands-on mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
  • Curiosity about manufacturing, process design, and continuous improvement.

Education

  • Grade 12 (Matric
  • Bachelors in chemical engineering
