Duties & Responsibilities

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY RESULTS AREAS

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Issuing of parts to Engineering and the Paint shop.
• Cycle counting and resolving problems surrounding inventory accuracy.
• Ordering of selected materials.
• Stock control in general, with specific focus on maintaining set standards of inventory accuracy.
• 5S (Organizing storage of parts)
• Housekeeping.

SAP:

• Post various transactions related to the movement of materials.
• General control of inventory (Enquiries, cycle counting, inventory)
• Handle high volumes of transactions under pressure against tight deadlines.
• Liaise with Engineering staff.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Ensuring workshop including store activities, receiving deliveries, quality checking, dispatching goods to be returned to the Distribution Centre.1. Customer collections, ensuring that correct processes and paperwork is followed.

2. Monitor stock against agreed inventory levels and re-order as required in line with the maintenance budget.

3. Ensure stock items have appropriate codes or labels.

4. Ensuring that all relevant workshop tool inspections is conducted and checked on a regular basis as required5. Develop and improve the Asset register for all electrical and hand tools

Educational Qualifications:

• Grade 12.

Experience:

• Experience working with ERP systems such as Pastel.
• 3 years experience in an administrative environment in Stores.
• Experience in applying computerized methods of Inventory control
