To provide leadership and direction for the design, implementation and management of enterprise systems management infrastructure. Are You Someone Who Can

• Provide input into the budgeting process and monitor utilisation for the financial year according to the operational plan
• Present work proposals on planned activities that will require financial resources
• Collect and interrogate information and feedback to ensure full understanding of customer needs to deliver a quality service
• Implement, monitor and control business processes according to quality standards; policy; and compliance and governance requirements in area of accountability
• Ensure the development, alignment, mapping and implementation of end-to-end processes aligned to the customer journey map
• Research, enable and consult on improvements and opportunities to harness technology and platform enablement
• Review existing processes and suggest innovative ideas to improve and streamline processes to drive efficiencies and minimise redundancy
• Work closely with a cross-functional team to assess enterprise system management product requirements for new and enhanced interface applications
• Provide leadership and direction within enterprise systems management to use correct networks, platforms and applications
• Oversee the design, implementation and management of the enterprise systems management infrastructure
• Translate business strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant IT projects / IT initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress
• Ensure service level requirements in the areas of network management, platform management, application management, event management, patch management, configuration management, capacity management, enterprise systems monitoring, automation, integration and asset management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Qualification & Experience: A Degree at NQF Level 7 or 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Experience in the Banking and IT industries is preferred.
• Essential Skills: Team management, coaching, and development experience are non-negotiable.

Tech Stack:

• Needs to have a general understanding of:
• Centralised Infrastructure - VMWare and Virtualisation technology
• Cloud technologies (Azure/AWS)
• Containerisation: Kubernetes, OpenShift
• CICD Pipeline
• OS Technologies i.e. Windows, Linux etc

Distributed Infrastructure:

• Desktop technologies
• ATM and self-service device technologies
• Peripherals specific to the financial industry
• Networking for both centralised and Distributed environments.
• Firewall Technology
• Load balancing
• DNS etc

Security - IT Security for both centralised and Distributed Infrastructure:

• Physical Technology, CCTV, Alarm etc.
