Contract Period: 1 April 2025 - 31 December 2025

Ramot Treatment Centre for Substance Addiction, a program of BADISA, invites applications from qualified individuals who have a positive disposition and uphold the values of the organisation.

Requirements:

• Registered with the SACSSP as a Social Worker
• Proven experience in developmentally oriented social work, especially in the field of substance abuse
• Postgraduate diploma in addiction care (advantageous)
• Familiarity with minimum norms and standards for treatment centres
• In-depth knowledge of the Prevention of and Treatment for Substance Abuse Act (No. 70 of 2008)
• Valid drivers licence
• Computer literate
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Proficient in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• Comfortable engaging with media platforms (radio, TV, print)
• Passionate about creating awareness of substance abuse in communities
