Hotel Housekeeper

We are seeking 5 x Housekeepers for our 34-bedroom hotel. You must have a keen eye for detail while handling vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sweeping duties. Our hotel staff prides itself on providing outstanding hospitality to our guests, and your housekeeping services are a significant part of this. The Housekeeper will report directly to the Housekeeping Manager at the Hotel. Duties and responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy up hotel rooms, hallways, patios/balcony and outside furniture
• Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture inside the rooms, entrance , bathroom and patios outside
• Vacuum carpets, sweep, and mop floors and stoep areas
• Empty trash bins
• Change linens and towels and replace toiletries
• Clean windows
• Wipe dust from shelving/cabinets
• Wipe skirting, headboard and other furniture with damp cloth
• Clean coffee machines
• Collaborate with the housekeeping team to complete the daily cleaning schedule
• Restock cleaning supplies in the hand cart before you depart from duty
• Report any issues that require maintenance
• Hand in checklist of lost and found and or defects in rooms
• Execute and other tasks that is needed as per operational procedures from time to time.
• Reports missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor and managers.
• Responds at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
• Handles any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

A must requirement is having 2+ years luxury hospitality experience!
