HR Specialist - Own & Lead the People Function at The Well & CoWork Schedule Requirement

This is a full-time remote role aligned with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).

  • Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM AEST, Monday to Friday
  • This schedule is standard business hours in Australia, but may translate to early morning or graveyard shifts depending on your region.
  • You must be fully available and operational during AEST hours, regardless of your location.

This role requires discipline, time zone awareness, and the ability to work independently while staying aligned with our Australian-based operations.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

  • Design and lead structured hiring processes
  • Oversee job ads, screening, interviews, and onboarding
  • Prevent hiring errors through clear evaluation systems

HR Policy & Compliance

  • Develop and implement policies that promote accountability
  • Ensure employment agreements and practices are legally sound
  • Guide leadership on workforce strategy and compliance

Performance & Culture

  • Foster a high-performance, values-driven culture
  • Manage performance reviews and resolve team issues
  • Coach leaders and staff to build trust and alignment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience across recruitment, compliance, and people management
  • Proven success developing and enforcing HR systems
  • Background in fast-growing industries (healthcare, business services, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of employment law and workforce planning
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and policy enforcement skills

Recruitment Process

Shortlisted candidates will go through the following steps:

  • Initial Video Interview
  • Live Simulation Assessment
  • Final Executive Interview

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R100 000,00 - R200 000,00 per year
