Junior Mechanical Draughtsman

Equalizer AG is a leading manufacturer of planting and seeding equipment in South Africa. Equalizer is a subsidiary of the Lemken Group of Companies, one of the biggest and oldest German manufacturers of agricultural equipment in Europe. We design, manufacture and distribute world class planters and seeders throughout South Africa and the rest of the world.

Job Description

The prime responsibility will be to create detailed engineering drawings from designs for the purpose of fabrication and production. You will be part of a bigger design team and therefore must be able to work in a team environment.

Qualification Requirements

• Competent and clear understanding of drawing standards
• Qualification in Mechanical Draughting
• Proficient in 3D Mechanical CAD (Solid Edge would be beneficial)

• Attention to detail & disciplined
• Goal & quality orientated

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create detailed production drawings or any other design related drawings
• Creation of 3D explosions for production drawings and parts manuals
• Imports CAD information and BOMs into ERP (Syspro) program
• Communicate drawing and production information accurately with production floor and suppliers
• Assist with any other tasks related to the design process

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R14 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
