Junior Mechanical Draughtsman

Location: Saxenburg Park 1, BlackheathPosition: Full-Time

Job Overview:We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Mechanical Draughtsman to join our growing team. As part of our design and engineering department, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to create technical drawings and assist in the development of mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and layouts using Solidworks software.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate concepts into accurate technical drawings.
• Modify existing drawings based on project requirements.
• Assist in project documentation and ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
• Support the manufacturing team with drawing-related queries.
• Gather required engineering information
• Perform site visits if required

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Draughting, or related field.
• Proficiency in Solidworks software.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet project deadlines.
• It is critical to have an ability to work under pressure
