Quality Process Controller

A well-established plastic injection moulding company based in Blackheath, Cape Town, is looking for a passionate Quality Process Controller to join their team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Matric (NSC) / NQF Level 4 Education.
• Windows and Microsoft Office literacy (Especially in Outlook and Excel).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Polymer manufacturing industry experience would be preferred.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Ensuring that production staff adhere to their designated responsibilities and comply with established quality standards.
• Extract Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and master samples on a daily basis as per production plan.
• Filing and storage of completed production documentation and samples.
• Conduct process audits on the injection, blow moulding , assembly and printing processes and do the necessary follow up.
• Report any discrepancies of processes to the Quality Manager.
• Complete daily and monthly reject reports.
• Update all Quality Management Systems (QMS) documentation.
• Inspection and approval of all incoming goods for the production and assembly processes.
• Recording and filing of COC of all incoming goods.
• Attend daily production meetings and provide feedback of any quality related concerns.
• Identify and monitor high risk production jobs.
