Legal Compiler

Job Overview:At My Debt Doctor, were dedicated to helping our clients navigate the complexities of debt review and regain control over their financial futures. As a Legal Compiler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all legal documentation is accurate and compliant, supporting clients through their debt review journey. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will contribute to smooth court processes and help facilitate the legal side of their path toward financial freedom.

Key Responsibilities:

· System Knowledge: Proficient in Maximus system for managing debt review processes and documentation.

· Debt Review Process: Basic understanding of the debt review process, including required forms and documentation.

· Knowledge of Marital Statuses and Contracts: Understanding of marital statuses, ANC (Ante-Nuptial Contract) agreements, and salary advice forms.

· Document Quality Assurance: Review and quality check all documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

· Court Pack Compilation: Assist in the preparation and compilation of court pack annexures for debt review submissions.

· System Information Updates: Ensure that all relevant system data is updated accurately and promptly.

· Special Projects: Participate in special projects such as cleaning backlogs and streamlining processes.

· Liaison with Debt Counsellors: Communicate with Octogen Debt Counsellors to ensure alignment and support in debt review matters.

· Consent to Serve: Verify and request Consent to Serve documents for debt review processes.

· Attorney Communication: Liaise effectively with attorneys to facilitate debt review-related legal matters.

· Annexure Preparation for Court Submissions: Print, attach, and organize annexures required for court applications related to debt review proceedings.

Minimum Requirements

· Education: Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.

· Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Legal Knowledge: Solid understanding of court processes, relevant legal documentation, and procedures in debt review applications.

Necessary Skills & Attributes

• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure associated with tight deadlines
• Ability to draft court documents in line with requirements

Salary:R6 500-R7 500 per month
