Logistics Team Leader
Primary purpose of the job:
To co-ordinate functions supervise sub-ordinates
Key Performance Areas:
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
Responsible for material handling equipment in Area of Responsibility
Responsible for cycle counts and accurate stock records in SAP system
Ensure proper Housekeeping in areas of responsibility
Responsible for adherence to HSE regulations
Assist in Stock taking etc
Timely reporting of KPIs
Timely recording of SAP Bookings
Supervise sub-ordinates
Effective shop floor planning
Co-ordinate despatch and receiving
Knowledge and Skills required:
Logistics function
Warehouse lay-out and design function
ERP systems
Leadership
Planning
Organising
Control
Computer literacy
Presentation and report writing
Problem solving
Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 4
Certificate for warehousing, stock keeping and material handling
Minimum 5 years warehousing experience within the automotive manufacturing environment.
