Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager for our Order Management and Commercial Operations. This role will lead a regional team focused on enhancing sales productivity, streamlining administrative workflows, and optimizing scalable order management processes. This role is pivotal in improving operational efficiency through the implementation of best practices, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration. As a key leader, you will oversee the order management lifecycle, from quote-to-cash, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and seamless execution. Youll partner closely with Sales, Deal Desk, Commercial Policy, and Enablement teams to drive operational excellence and elevate the sales experience. This is a hybrid role requiring both strategic vision and hands-on execution, with team leadership responsibilities. This role follows North American (EST) hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Commercial Operations Specialists, acting as the primary point of contact and escalation for day-to-day operations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to regional and global sales leaders, supporting sales enablement and driving efficiency across the quote-to-cash process.
- Oversee strategic, complex opportunity management, including quoting, contract review, and deal execution support.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and oversee approval workflows, SLA adherence, and opportunity quality assurance.
- Monitor and enhance performance metrics (KPIs, SLAs) via dashboards and reporting tools; proactively identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with global leadership to define and standardize scalable sales and order management processes.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to deliver targeted training, documentation, and process updates based on recurring issues or gaps.
- Facilitate and lead regular sales office hours focused on product-specific or solution-area support.
- Support DealHub and Deal Desk processes, assisting in deal structure optimization and approval routing.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across systems and workflows, leveraging automation and analytics.
- Analyze Salesforce funnel and pipeline data weekly to ensure OM data integrity and forecast accuracy.
- Report on team performance and contribute to business reviews, leveraging metrics for decision-making and strategy alignment.
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in sales operations, commercial operations, or order management within enterprise SaaS or software organizations.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com and Excel; experience with CPQ, CLM, or DealHub is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision maker.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail.
