Mechanical Fitter required

As a Fitter, your role will be pivotal in fabricating, fitting, stripping and assembling the structural components of various mechanical systems. Your responsibilities will include analyzing blueprints, constructing components, using welding equipment, maintaining the integrity and efficiency of mechanical systems and conducting maintenance, contribute to a safer, smoother operation by conducting diagnostic tests, replacing components, and adhering to safety regulations.

Must be familiar with motors and gearboxes

Fitter Trade Apprenticeship with a Trade Test

6-10 years experience

Be able to work in a fast paced workshop

Be able to work on sites.

• Appropriate state certification
• Proven experience working as a fitter
• Sound knowledge of local and state building codes

• The ability to concentrate for extended periods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Exceptional welding and mechanical skills
