Media Buyer Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior to join our dynamic team.

To assist the Media Buyer Executives and Managers in loading, activating and tracking the performance of social media ads.

All functions shall be conducted under the supervision of a Media Buyer Executive/Manager.

Summary of essential job functions

1. Loading Ads

• Load ads onto the respective social media platform in accordance with the brief received.
• Loading ads includes naming the ad; selecting the campaign objective; campaign optimisation; audience targeting; budgeting; placements; associated assets (pixels; catalogues; etc); linking the correct page/profile; ad formats; ad creative; ad copy; ad destinations (including utm tracking); lead forms.
• Ads will be loaded but not activated (not turned on)

2. Lead Integration

• Any lead integration is only to be completed under the direct supervision of a Media Buyer Executive/Manager.

3. Activating Ads

• Activating of ads shall only be done under the direct instruction of a Media Buyer Executive/Manager.

4. Performance Tracking

• Identify ads that are not performing in accordance with benchmark / expected standards.
• Make the necessary changes to ads, under instruction and guidance from a Media Buyer Executive/Manager. Changes shall include adjusting budgets; optimisations; audience.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Tertiary qualification preferred
