  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for commercial customers.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of all systems currently used in FNB Commercial.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Train and support new frontline teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to frontline sales teams, solving complex issues as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Key Skills and Competencies:
  • Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for commercial customers.
  • Systems Proficiency: Thorough knowledge of all systems currently used in FNB Commercial.
  • Project Management: Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Training and Development: Capability to train and support new frontline teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to solve complex issues and provide guidance to frontline sales teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal Candidate must have:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on commercial customers.
  • Extensive experience with the systems and tools used in FNB Commercial.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor new team members effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex issues.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
Job Description To support the Client Portfolio Executive by managing and administering a portfolio of clients including the application of an approval and ongoing quality risk management of the clients credit facilities.   • Deliver exceptional service through educating the client, offering an appropriate solution and ensuring the relationship is maintained.
  • Continuously monitor actual process turnaround times and quality standards and resolve issues speedily to enhance effective client service delivery.
  • Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers and senior staff members.
  • Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and business internal compliance procedures and requirements.
  • Accurately administer, plan for and complete activities within area of work in an efficient, effective and timeous manner.
  • Ensure compliance is adopted in terms of systems and procedures as laid out by business.
  • Develop materials and documentation including minimum standards, templates, guidelines, FAQs and processes.
  • Ensure analysis is conducted to identify business performance improvements and reengineering initiatives.
  • Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analysing trends and data.
  • Accumulate information to review work progress that provides input to reporting, decision making and the identification of improvement opportunities.
  • Create own development plan and review plan with team leader or manager.
  • Understand which competencies and skills are required to be mastered to ensure personal development and performance.
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
  • Have obtained 2-3 years in an Analyst role in the Commercial Banking environment
  • FAIS Accredited qualification (NQF level 6, 7 etc.)
  • Exposure to Credit Applications in Agric/Commercial space environment.
  • RE qualification not a must have
  • Credit Management exposure a must
  • Have experience of dealing with high level customer queries
  • Sales exposure a must
  • Are not an unrehabilitated insolvent
