Payroll Administrator
Skills & Responsibilities
Prepare weekly payroll file within specified timeframes
- Add new employees on VIP and loading the information as per their employment contracts
- Accurate capturing of payroll data
- Leave administration
- Termination process with the necessary approval
- Providing ad hoc reports and analysis for management as required
- Assisting in the processing of all UIF claims as appropriate
- Ensuring all other deductions are appropriately authorised and actioned in accordance with existing legal requirements
- Printing and distributing payslips weekly
- Have sound knowledge of labour law principles in so far as their applicability to payroll and remuneration related legislation as well as NTBC
- Annual Audit: Assisting with Audit preparation
- Understanding all terms and conditions of employment contract variations within the organisation
- Consolidation and reconciliation of payroll and performance of analytical reviews, ensuring that all employees are correctly allocated to their teams
- Maintaining the ERS system (Time & attendance)
- Month End reconciliations and payments to 3rd Parties
- Employment confirmations
- Custodian of all payroll related filing in line with statutory record-keeping requirements
- Addressing pay queries as and when they arrive

· Arranging Entry Medicals
· Induction process
· Contracts & Job descriptions
· Arranging training
· Keeping Training schedules up to date
· Other Training duties, i.e Learnerships etc
· General Administration duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R15 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
Education:
- Diploma (Required)
Experience:
- Wage payroll: 4 years (Required)
- Sage 300 People: 3 years (Preferred)
- Administration: 3 years (Required)
