PR Account Manager

Cape Town based applications only please! Qualifications and experience: Tertiary qualification in public relations and or communication/journalism. At least two years as PR account manager within an agency environment with contactable references. Required: Experience managing clients independently and delivering results. Media Relations: Great contacts and strong relationships with journalists, editors and influencers across various industries. Digitally savvy (digital marketing and social media). Excellent knowledge and understanding of the PR world. Great communicator: Active listener, confident speaker. Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills. Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and execute PR strategies that align with client goals. Project management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a team and multiple accounts and deadlines. Positive, can-do attitude and an excellent work ethic. Creative problem-solver.
