Programme Manager I

Job Description To plan, direct and coordinate a programme of projects to ensure programme goals are met and that projects are executed as expected. Responsibilities:
  • To plan, direct, and integrate the activities of enterprise-wide programmes to ensure that goals are accomplished and achieved within defined scope, budget, quality, and timelines meeting stakeholder and client expectations.
  • Plan the overall programme and monitor progress to ensure that milestones are being met across various projects and programmes.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive programme plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  • Oversee programme and project teams to ensure the best return on investment, and plan and assign tasks for cross-project collaboration.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviour through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organizational values.
  • Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes.
  • Manage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parameters.
Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualification - Completed Relevant Postgrad Degree
  • The ability to understand the wider objectives of the programme, such as business and strategic goals
  • Manage complexity and relationships within FML to ensure delivery in the business, Data, Digital and Compliance environments.
  • Understand the complexity, the linkages, and the interfaces to enable problem solving in the short and long term.
  • Ability to convey complex strategies and plans to the Executive
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Programme Management Professional) certification or Equivalent
  • 8+ years project management experience, with a track record of delivery of projects
  • Experience within a big data platform and or analytics environment
  • Manage complexity and relationships within FML to ensure delivery in the business, Digital and Compliance environments.
  • Understand the complexity, the linkages, and the interfaces to enable problem solving in the short and long term.
  • Experience working on Digital Transformation initiatives
  • Hand Over of Programme to Business
  • Transfer knowledge of all Programmes to suitable candidate as identified
  • Oversight and general leadership on projects
