Reconciliation Specialist (12 Months Contract)
We are recruiting for a Reconciliation Specialist role on a 12-month contract.
Key responsibilities:- Reconciliation of data over the whole internal organization.
- Disbursement value chain, from Applications received to payment to students.
- Analyse the approved payment instructions to determine whether only valid claims are being paid.
- Analyse data to identify potential gaps or blockages in the system.
- Reconciliation of external data directly with institutions between remittance and institution payments.
- Perform Financial reconciliations specifically related to the organizations reporting, i.e. recoveries, bank receipts.
- NQF Level 7 in Commerce.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in financial systems in the education or finance sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Preferable proficiency in SQL.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Produce Month end, Quarterly and Year end reconciliation reports on the clients funding data points
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
