Regional Marketing Manager
Key purpose of the role To develop, implement and manage effective marketing strategies and campaigns that support audience and revenue growth objectives across the regional stations and EWN. The role includes managing the regional marketing team, driving brand consistency, optimising media spend, and ensuring alignment between internal teams and external agencies. Minimum required qualification: Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business management Qualifications considered advantageous : Honours Degree, post graduate diploma or equivalent in digital marketing and media buying Minimum years of experience : 5-8 years in a marketing role, with experience in executing multi-channel campaigns. including 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity. Proven experience in campaign planning, brand management, and stakeholder engagement. Additional role requirements: General understanding of media and broadcasting industry Understanding of analytics, RAMS Strong understanding of digital platforms, content planning, and paid media Proficient in campaign tracking, reporting, and optimisation. Strong copywriting, project management, and time-management skills. Strong budgeting and financial acumen Strong project management skills Fully proficient in Microsoft tools and reporting Key performance areas Campaign management Timely and effective execution of campaigns: &• Plan, brief, and execute campaigns across digital, on-air, and event platforms Brand management Brand consistency and positive audience perception: &• Ensure all brand elements align with CI and resonate with target audiences Stakeholder management Cross-functional collaboration effectiveness: &• Collaborate with sales, programming, digital, and content teams to align on marketing priorities Agency and vendor management Campaign assets delivered on time, on brief, and within budget: &• Manage creative, media, and promotional agencies Marketing reporting and analytics Actionable insights derived from performance data &• Generate post-campaign reports and apply data to future planning Budget management Adherence to allocated spend: &• Lead budgeting and cost control for the regional marketing team &• Monitor and approve expenditure forecasts &• Analyse and improve financial efficiency &• Support EBITA targets as set by the Board Team leadership Team engagement and delivery: &• Lead, develop and motivate the team &• Manage performance across the team &• Drive skills development and mentorship initiatives &• Implement succession planning in partnership with HC &• Promote a culture of high performance and diversity &• Drive collaboration between the marketing team and wider PMB team Event support Campaign integration and execution &• Support brand activations and integrated events Suitable candidates will be selected in accordance with Primedia Broadcastings Employment Equity Policy.
