Risk Manager

Risk Manager We are recruiting for a Risk Manager with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience on behalf of our client, a dynamic and growing technology company based in Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact the organisations financial, operational, and strategic objectives. This role is critical in developing and implementing robust risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the company operates within acceptable risk thresholds.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in risk management, preferably within the technology or a similar industry.
• Vehicle and valid Drivers License.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and prioritise potential financial, operational, strategic and compliance risks across the organisation.
• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework, policies and procedures.
• Monitor internal and external environments for emerging risks and provide timely recommendations to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure that risk considerations are integrated into decision-making processes.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed risk analysis reports for stakeholders and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Assist in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
• Promote a risk-aware culture through training and awareness initiatives.
