Sales Representative

The Role

To drive the sales and promotion of Bell Equipments range of heavy machinery and related services to customers within a defined geographical area or industry segment. The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction while achieving set sales targets.

Skills and Experience Sales Administration & Reporting
  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and sales contracts.

  • Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system regarding sales activities, customer information, and pipeline status.

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.

Product Knowledge & Demonstrations
  • Stay up to date on technical specifications and benefits of all Bell Equipment products.

  • Organize and conduct on-site product demonstrations or technical presentations.

  • Liaise with internal technical teams to ensure accurate information is provided to customers.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Grade 12 (Matric) - Essential

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Mechanical Engineering - Preferred

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the heavy equipment, construction machinery, or mining industry.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently.

Other Key Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development
  • Promote and sell Bell Equipments product lines including articulated dump trucks, loaders, graders, excavators, and related parts.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients across construction, mining, agriculture, and forestry sectors.

  • Identify prospective customers through research, networking, cold calling, and site visits.

  • Conduct customer needs analysis and present tailored solutions based on technical requirements.

Client Relationship Management
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships to promote repeat business and customer loyalty.

  • Manage customer accounts, resolve complaints, and provide after-sales support.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding product updates, service offerings, and new developments.

Sales Administration & Reporting
