Sales Representative
MAIN PURPOSE
To deliver exceptional service to all stakeholders, by selling tyres and related products to businesses, such as automotive shops, tyre retailers, and fleet operators, act as a liaison between Royal Tyres and the customer, aiming to increase sales and build relationships. Key responsibilities include: sale of tyres, transportation of tyres, and other products to customers, retail locations, and other business partners. Maintain and build customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Account Management:
- Generate new business and expand existing accounts by selling tyres, related products, and services to automotive shops, retailers, fleet operators, and other commercial clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Customer Support:
- Offer expert advice on tire selection, tyre care, and maintenance to ensure customers choose the right products for their needs.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product Knowledge:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of tyre products, market trends, and competitor offerings.
- Stay updated on new tire technologies, industry advancements, and regulatory changes.
- Market and Competitor Analysis:
- Monitor local market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing market data and customer feedback.
- Order Management and Inventory:
- Coordinate orders, deliveries, and inventory to ensure stock availability and timely fulfillment.
- Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of orders.
- Promotions and Pricing:
- Present and negotiate promotions, discounts, and pricing options to meet customer needs while ensuring company profitability.
- Maintain pricing strategies and respond to customer pricing requests or issues.
- Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and inventory levels.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, in the tyre, automotive, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of tyre products, sizes, and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite .
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in tyre sales or automotive industry.
- Familiarity with tyre industry standards and certifications.
- Must have knowledge of passenger, truck and earth mover tyres.
- Knowledge of fleet management and commercial tyre needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel locally for client visits.
- Ability to handle tyre stock or deliveries.
