Summary
Growing IT Business is looking for a new full-time System/Network Administrator. The candidate should convey a strong dedication to quality customer service, excellent follow-through, attention to detail, and work well both independently and cooperatively. The focus of this position is to implement new technology for clients and provide escalation support for internal IT Technicians.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Design and architect comprehensive technology solutions tailored to client business requirements
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations and technical prototypes to validate solution designs
- Create and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and management processes
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business objectives and technical constraints
- Perform technical discovery to assess client environments and identify opportunities for optimization
- Document solution architectures, technical specifications, and implementation plans
- Develop testing methodologies to ensure solution quality and performance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance our service offerings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in IT solution design and architecture, preferably in an MSP environment
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages for automation and tool development
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, M365) and hybrid infrastructure design
- Knowledge of networking, security, and infrastructure best practices
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, RMM platforms, and PSA solutions
- Experience implementing and integrating business applications and productivity tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Skills
- MSP tools and methodologies
- Understanding of compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC2, GDPR, etc.)
- Professional certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, etc.
- Experience in project management methodologies
