A bit more about the Opportunity...: What Your Day-to-Day will Look Like: You will be an ambassador for Sigma Connected, live and breathe our values every day and encourage others to do the same. You are responsible for the effective leadership, management & development of the Onboarding team. You will ensure that the Onboarding teams SLAs & KPIs are always achieved and processes are adhered to, by introducing and maintaining effective checking and governance processes. You will set clear expectations for individual and team performance, and provide coaching, support, and accountability to ensure high-quality delivery. You will lead regular check-ins and performance reviews with the Onboarding team to drive alignment, recognise achievements, and address performance gaps early. You will track key onboarding metrics to assess team productivity, quality, and compliance, using data to inform resourcing decisions and flag risks proactively. You will work closely with internal & external stakeholders to ensure that we create buzz and excitement for all new starters, through an exceptional Onboarding experience. You will develop new Onboarding initiatives, so we are always improving in what we do. You will pilot, test, and embed changes to onboarding workflows, technology, or communications to improve speed, consistency, and candidate engagement. What amazing People will bring to the role: What Amazing People Will Bring to the Role: Youll bring a strong understanding of end-to-end onboarding and talent processes, ideally gained within a People or Talent Specialist role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment like the BPO sector. Youll have hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and people systems, and feel confident navigating the back end to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.

Youre someone who thrives in a role where structure, continuous improvement, and people experience intersect. Youre highly organised, data-literate, and skilled at interpreting trends to inform decisions, spot risks, and drive better outcomes. You set clear expectations, coach others to succeed, and are not afraid to hold the line when needed.

Youre passionate about creating exceptional first experiences for new joiners, and you understand how to balance legal compliance, especially around UK right to work requirements, with warmth, excitement, and excellence. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence in tools like Canva mean youre equipped to visualise data and communicate updates clearly.

Requirements:

  • You have 3 years experience within a People or Talent Specialist level role (BPO sector preferred).
  • You have 3 years experience working with an applicant tracking system (ATS) or People System (highly advantageous).
  • You have experience of working in the ‘back end of a people system (highly advantageous).
  • You have a thorough understanding of Talent & Onboarding processes, with a proven track record of delivery.
  • You have a strong understanding of legal/ government requirements relating to UK colleagues onboarding e.g., right to work checks, documents required etc.
  • Your skill level within all Microsoft applications (especially Excel), is at an intermediate to advanced level, and I am comfortable with applications such as Canva.
  • You can analyse data and develop reports and updates clearly outlining the findings.
