Technical Product Owner

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join our clients Cloud and Digital team. This is a strategic role for an experienced professional who can combine technical acumen with strong product leadership to drive innovation and deliver business value through technology. You will lead the end-to-end development and delivery of complex technical products, working closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. You will shape product strategies, manage roadmaps, and ensure technical feasibility while maintaining a clear focus on customer needs and business outcomes.

Tasks include:

• Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy
• Prioritise and manage the product backlog aligned with strategic goals
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable
• Conduct market research and gather customer insights to inform product decisions
• Oversee the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Drive the timely delivery of high-quality, scalable products

Requirements:

• Willing to work on a 12 month contract with the possibility of renewal
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering
• Preferred: MBA or equivalent business qualification
• Certifications such as CSPO, CSM, or SAFe POPM are advantageous
• Minimum 5-7 years in product management or a related technical field
• Strong track record of delivering complex software productS
• Proven leadership in cross-functional, agile delivery environments
• Solid background in software development or systems engineering
• Familiarity with KPIs, market trends, and customer feedback loops
