Location

• South Africa Johannesburg, Randburg.

Purpose of the Position:

• To ensure that fault finding, and repair of broadcast equipment is carried out properly to minimize operational down time.
• To ensure that there is technical support to the relevant operating teams.

Key Performance Objectives

Tasks

Operational Delivery

• Ensure that corrective and preventative maintenance of broadcast systems and equipment is carried out under supervisory guidance of the line Manager.
• Ensure availability of technical support to the business.
• Ensure that proper technical maintenance on OB units is carried out regularly.
• Ensure that technical or operational equipments are in proper working order.
• Ensure that feedback is provided to Engineers and Unit Supervisor regarding availability and readiness of Operational equipments after the maintenance and repairs.

Compliance

• Operate within a given budget to determine and ensure that the financial requirements can be met.
• Perform in accordance with the business processes and policies.
• Participate in learning and development activities to ensure adherence to the requirements of the division.

Qualification:

• Grade 12 matric certificate.
• NQF Level 4 Qualification.

Experience

• Previous in-Service training in an Engineering or broadcast environment.
• A minimum 1-3 years experience in a technician.
• Live broadcasting knowledge.
• Computer literate.
