Tool Maker

ExactoCraft, a well-established plastic injection moulding company based in Blackheath, Cape Town, is looking for a skilled toolmaker to join their team.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Expert in creating tools and dies with high accuracy from design drawings and sketches.
• Skilled in operating standard machines and hand tools in a toolroom, including CNC machinery.
• Experienced in mould assembly, repair, and servicing, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
• Capable of handling various administrative duties, including documentation and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to operate all standard machines with precision and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 (Non -negotiable)
• SA Trade tested (Toolmaker, tool, jig and die maker)
• Minimum 1 year in a polymer manufacturing environment
• Computer literate
• Valid Code 8 (B) drivers license and own vehicle would be advantageous.

Note: this position is to be filled immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R100,00 - R150,00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
