Visual Merchandise Implementation Manager
Purpose of the job
To lead and support the Field VM team to be able to deliver on implementation of consistent store standards across all brands in the business. Ensures consistency of all work methods and standards between the different Field Visual Merchandisers.
Oversee the promotional processes from the Sales Department side to ensure the companys in-store merchandising standards, to meet customer expectations in line with the discounter image strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Management of Field VM function to execute seasonal strategy and company strategic drives
Driving implementation of training and development initiatives with regards to visual merchandising
Oversee promotional process
Custodian of Hi 5 Site communication platform
Leadership
Ad hoc responsibilities
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Tertiary qualification in creative design (i.e. graphic design, interior design or fashion design.)
Business qualification will be an advantage.
5 years experience in retail visual merchandising
Marketing or operational experience will be an advantage
5+ years team management experience
Computer literacy - Google Suite
CAD/Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
Creative flair and imagination
Talent for design, colour and style
Strong interest in current and future design trends
Visual/spatial awareness
Problem Solving
Analytical skills
Willingness to travel
