Role Overview

We are looking for a Night Shift Fleet Manager to oversee nightly depot operations in Philippi. You will manage drivers, vehicles, and routes to ensure smooth operations and superior client service. The role requires integrity, reliability, strong time management, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a fleet of vehicles: maintenance, licensing, breakdowns, diesel consumption, and cleanliness.
• Plan and schedule nightly operations, routes, and driver shifts.
• Monitor driver performance, development plans, leave, and overtime.
• Handle operational budgets, insurance claims, traffic fines, and compliance with regulations.
• Act as a client liaison, resolving queries and ensuring SLAs are met.
• Lead and motivate a team to improve efficiency and performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in transport/logistics
• Proven track record managing customer portfoliosl
• Matric (Tertiary diploma/degree advantageous
• Computer literate (MS Office, Outlook)
