At Streets Chartered Accountants, we deliver tailored accounting, audit, and advisory services with a dynamic, supportive team that values innovation and excellence. As we grow our global remote team, we are seeking an Accounting Senior to join our team, where you'll take the lead in preparing financial statements while contributing to the auditing process. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, and applicable standards ensuring accuracy and insight-driven reporting. (80% estimated time allocation) Prepare personal tax and corporation tax returns. Manage and oversee the end-to-end financial statement preparation process. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery. Provide critical support in audit engagements, reviewing financial data and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. (20% estimated time allocation) Ensure all financial deliverables meet quality assurance standards. What We’re Looking For Proven recent experience in financial statement preparation and review in a practice environment essential. Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP). Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (SAICA, SAIPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Experience with basic tax return preparation. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment. Excellent communication skills for effective client and team interactions. Ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with accounting software and tools (experience with Quick Books, Xero, Sage 200, and SAPA is advantageous).
