Job description
Longstanding Port Elizabeth security installer company seeking suitable candidate to fulfil duties as installation / maintenance technician:
Valid driver’s license is required;
A proper understanding of and proficiency in basic security equipment;
Must be able to work independently, without supervision.
Duties will include, but not be limited to the daily tasks performed to attend to customers’ security needs, i.e. CCTV systems, gate motors, biometrics and EAS systems. Suitable candidates must have the ability to attend to troubleshooting equipment and diagnosing faults. Repairs, installation and servicing of different components relevant to the trade is essential.
Computer / networking background is required to apply for the position.
PSIRA registration will be required.
Sober habits with no criminal record or current charges is not negotiable.
Salary is dependent upon candidate’s abilities.
