Effective leadership, support, and performance management of the Case Management and Billing teams Ensuring team compliance with hospital policies, billing protocols, and scheme rules Oversight of patient billing accuracy, timely claims submission, and financial risk mitigation Monitoring and auditing coding, claim data, and discharge records Liaising with Credit Control, Heads of Department, Specialists, and Hospital Management Management of Fixed Fees, high-cost medication, and Medical Aid escalations Review and validation of key operational reports (Ward, Theatre, Medikredit, Non-Release) Implementation and enforcement of company policies, POPIA compliance, and process improvements Grade 12 or equivalent Relevant tertiary qualification (Essential) Minimum of 5 years experience in hospital administration Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding In-depth understanding of Private Hospital Billing guidelines Knowledge of Medical Aid Rules and Fixed Fee Contracts Excellent computer literacy Strong administration, leadership, and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and independently Exceptional time management and attention to detail Between 5 - 7 Years
