Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bakery Assistant at Happy Earth People in Somerset West. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to food production, ensuring quality control, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and following food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or production
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
• Experience working with plant-based foods is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training in food processing
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Assisting in the production of cookies, from mixing dough to baking and packaging.
• Operating and maintaining bakery equipment.
• Ensuring consistent quality and following recipes accurately.
• Working efficiently to meet production targets.
• Keeping the bakery clean and organized, following hygiene and food safety standards.

• Experience in baking, preferably in a commercial or production setting.
• Ability to work with bakery equipment and handle ingredients properly.
