We are looking for a Customer Service Intern to join our team and help maintain our excellent service standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Addressing customer complaints, responding to inquiries, and resolving common issues such as registration, checkout, and guiding users on site functionality through:

  • Inbound phone support
  • Live chat / WhatsApp
  • Email
  • Social media platforms
  • Making outbound calls to follow up with customers or merchants and to check on delivery statuses
  • Meeting and exceeding performance targets related to resolution times, response rates, customer feedback, and service quality

Qualifications:

  • At least two years experience in an inbound call centre environment
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Afrikaans
  • Proficiency in a third official language is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and consistently meet or exceed daily targets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (email proficiency is especially important)
  • E-commerce experience preferred, with solid digital skills, including CRM or communication platforms
  • Competent in using backend admin systems, and able to quickly learn new technologies
  • Experience with Freshdesk, Zendesk, or similar tools
